Kyle Harter (they/them) has created comics for over twenty years, self-publishing books, zines, and the graphic novel Boundaries and distributing these works at hundreds of art fairs, zine fests, and indie bookstores. Their work has also appeared in magazines and anthologies collectively spanning thousands of comic pages, ranging in style from deeply vulnerable to silly and whimsical.

In addition to comics, Kyle is accomplished in illustration and fine art, having exhibited in galleries and on mural walls across Chicago and the West Coast. They’ve collaborated with LGBTQIA2S+ clients including the Transgender District in San Francisco, for whom they designed brand merchandise, and filmmaker Ky Dickens, for whom they created illustrations for the gay rights documentary Fish Out of Water, contributing to its animated sequences that won awards at film festivals across the United States.

Kyle is currently based in Sacramento, California, where they love spending quality time with their partner and their dog.
